The National Museum of Industrial History (NMIH), located on Bethlehem’s Southside, is a must-see for locals and tourists alike. Housed in the 100-year-old former Bethlehem Steel factory, the museum first opened its doors this past August after 18 years in the making. Through thought-provoking and interactive exhibits, the museum invites guests of all ages to participate in learning more about the United States’ rich, industrial heritage.

The Tallarico family hails from the rustic, sweet life of the Calabria region in southern Italy. Generations later, family and tradition continue to be a driving force in the Lehigh Valley at Tallarico Foods, a Bethlehem-based purveyor of Italian sauces and American sandwich products. The company was founded in 1957 basically on a hunch when founder James (Jim) Tallarico noticed the popular Philadelphia cheese steak was driving a new niche in the tidy family-owned grocery store on Linden Street in Bethlehem.
